In this workspace we have the mapping tool provenance data file needed to produce the scaffold of the thirty-one human spinal nerves for the `SPARC <https://commonfund.nih.gov/sparc>`_ project. The mapping tool will be accessible from the release download page on the `SPARC Portal <https://sparc.science/>`_.

An anatomically-based 3D scaffold of the thirty-one human spinal nerves is created to map nerve ending pathways. The spinal nerves scaffold is generated as a collection of dorsal root ganglion scaffolds. A user can annotate each individual spinal nerve, as well as the corresponding regions (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral and coccygeal). The scaffold of the thirty-one human spinal nerves is parameterized with data to represent the anatomy as accurate as possible.
